Payment Terms
TERMS OF
BUSINESS
- "Mothercraft and Nannies" is a referral agency, which does not
enter into contracts of employment with nurses/nannies.
- "Mothercraft and Nannies "refers selected nurses/nannies to
clients and those clients enter into employment arrangements with
those nurses/nannies.
- Referral Agreement required to be signed and returned to
"Mothercraft and Nannies" prior to permanent Candidates being
referred.
- "Mothercraft and Nannies" is not responsible for any
compensation or public liability insurance cover for the
nurses/nannies. It is a requirement of employment that
Domestic Workers Compensation Insurance be
arranged directly by the client.
- It is the responsibility of the client as the employer, to
register for taxation purposes as a group employer and to deduct
taxation from payments made to nurses/nannies. Taxation
deductions should then be remitted to the Australian Taxation
Office on a regular basis. (Applies to permanent placements
only). Payment is to be made directly by the client to the
nurse/nanny of the fees payable for the services rendered by that
nurse/nanny.
- Payment of commission to "Mothercraft and Nannies" is to be
made directly to "Mothercraft and Nannies" by the client. All
such payments are to be made within seven (7) days of receipt of
invoice.
- All payments to "Mothercraft and Nannies" to be made by Credit
Cards (VISA, MasterCard). Credit card details are to be given
to "Mothercraft and Nannies" once Nanny/Babysitter is arranged and
kept on file for subsequent bookings.
- Commission is also payable to "Mothercraft and Nannies" where
the original service period entered into by the nurse/nanny and the
client is extended.
- "Mothercraft and Nannies" accepts no liability for itself, its
servants or agents for any loss, damage, costs or compensation
which the client may suffer or for which the client may become
liable arising out of or in connection with, or as a result of the
negligence or willful acts or omissions of the Candidate.
- The offer of employment by the client to the nurse/nanny will
constitute acceptance of these terms and conditions as between
"Mothercraft and Nannies" and the client.
- Where nurses/nannies referred to clients are from outside
Australia the client must ensure that those nurse/nannies hold
appropriate visas for this country.
- Superannuation payment advice is available from the Australian
Taxation Office or a financial adviser.
- Where 2 or more families combine and use a nurse/nanny,
additional costs per hour is payable
- Cancellation Policy - Please note that the
agency booking fee (including GST) will be charged if a service is
cancelled within 24 hours of the agreed and scheduled commencement
time. Cancellation of weekend bookings must be made prior to
4.30pm on Fridays. The girls are also to be paid the first 2 hours
at the going rate.
Cancellation of "Sleep and Settle" Program
incurs a $50 cancellation fee to the agency and $100 payment to the
Mothercraft Nurse, after the Mothercraft Nurse has been assigned
and the program confirmed with the
family.
